This project involved a complete re-work of our clients existing property. We removed walls and rearranged the space to create a bathroom area that felt spacious and luxurious, but was still private, low maintenance and worked well for our clients’ young family.
While there was ample space in the original powder room, in the bathroom there was a dark nook for a shower, a large vanity, and a very shallow bath. The space was clearly not used to its full potential.
We worked with the clients to completely redesign the space, installing a new infinity system and utilizing space from the separate toilet and large hot water cupboard to create a larger open area. We were able to provide creative solutions to privacy by creating elegant partition walls and a fully enclosed ‘wet room’.
The vision for this bathroom was to provide a luxurious getaway for the parents, but still provide a space that is easy to use and clean to provide for their young children. With the combination of the dark tiles and contrasting swivel brass fixtures and fittings, we believe we were able to create the perfect blend.
